Transportation and Parking

Free bus transportation to the University Park Campus is available to students living in university-owned housing, as well as to residents of the nearby North University Park area. A bus route connects the University Parking Center (at Jefferson and Grand Avenues) with various University Park Campus locations. An intercampus shuttle runs between the University Park and Health Sciences campuses. Tram service links both campuses to Union Station—a major Los Angeles transportation hub serviced by Amtrak, Metrolink, Metrorail and local transit bus lines. USC buses operate designated routes Monday through Friday. Limited service is provided on weekends.

If you live off campus and commute to USC, you can purchase a parking permit on a first-come, first-served basis. Cost varies by location and type of parking permit, and rates are subject to change.

USC Transportation can help you locate USC students, faculty and staff who want to share rides to campus. You can also find information about bus routes, light rail, Metrorail subways, Metrolink commuter trains and university-operated van pools to other areas.
